STANDING BY LONDON’S CABBIES
When we opened our doors in 2015, it was London’s black cab drivers who spread the word. They dropped hungry passengers at our door, stopped in for a fish supper between fares, and helped make The Mayfair Chippy what it is today.
From Monday 26th October, almost a kilometre of Oxford Street, from Orchard Street to Great Portland Street, becomes traffic-free, and black cabs will no longer be able to use it. It’s another blow for a trade that’s already under pressure, so we’re doing what any good neighbour would and standing by them.
Until the end of the year, we’re giving Londoners another reason to hop in a black cab and say a proper thank you to the drivers behind the wheel.

Limited to the first 50 cabbies each week, so don’t leave it too late.

Look for the Jump QR code at your table. Scan it to book a black cab yourself, or ask our team and we’ll happily book one for you. There’s no sign-up, and you won’t pay a thing until your cab arrives. It’s just like hailing a cab, except it comes to you.
